CB Group and the University of the West Indies (UWI) are seeking to raise $15 million from their 5K run/walk

The CB Group UWI 5K Run/Walk event is in its fourth year and has assisted over 75 students since the inaugural staging in 2012. To date some $38 million has been raised and awarded to young outstanding academic achievers who are in financial need, the company said. read more...

All Set For CB Group/UWI 5K

The second CB Group/University of the West Indies (UWI) 5K is set for Sunday, November 17, at the UWI Bowl in Mona, starting at 7 a.m.

Starting this year, title sponsor Caribbean Broilers has committed to a three-year deal worth $9 million. At last year's inaugural staging, 2,500 persons participated and $18 million was raised and 20 students were recipients of scholarship awards at UWI.
